With Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Entourage it certainly looks like your getting a lot of value for your handful of coins with Office 2008, and for once appearances aren't deceiving.
Picking up where Office 2008 left off and adding the spit and polish to the user interface in true Mac style Microsoft's software team have arguable created for its rivals the office application suite it 2007 should have been.
There are one or two dents in the armour which need hammering out before Office 2008 can be called perfect but they're all in inconspicuous places that the average user isn't ever going to notice. Thus, as we all know the real boring corporate types all use PCs anyway, it is safe to say that iWork had better get some serious time in at the gym if it wants to pose a serious rival to the newly crowned king of the office.
