Since everything has to have a touch-screen interface these days, Panasonic has launched the FX500, its first compact camera with a touch-screen monitor. However unlike other manufacturers, Panasonic has only used the touch-screen feature for those functions where it is actually useful, and the result is a superbly useable camera.
